Alan Bull Art Studio
Alan Bull will be showing some brand new plein air paintings, including views of the Isles of Shoals, several local marsh scenes and the Plum Island airstrip. Hours: Saturday from 12pm-4pm. After that I’ll be doing a live painting at the Newburyport Art Association gala at 5pm.

Blochaus Art Gallery

Also, come by the gallery and contribute to this all ages drawing project as everyone is invited to add branches, leaves, bark to a “150’ sidewalk tree chalk drawing which represents our Eastern White Pine’s average height - the tallest growing trees in Massachusetts. Come have fun. Hours: 10-5pm. Alternative drawing at gallery if raining.

Gibson Sotheby's International Realty
We will host local artists Sheila Newquist and Tom Ardito for a special live painting experience, giving attendees the opportunity to watch their creative process unfold firsthand. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience local art in action and connect with the artists in a unique setting. Both artists will be there from 10 am-5 pm, both set up for painting on and off throughout the day.

New England Sketchbook
At New England Sketch Book from 11am to 3pm. Join shop owner, curator, and photographist Corey Prince for a special onsite demonstration of mid-19th century wet plate collodion photography. Corey will be showcasing the equipment and process introduced by Fredrick Scott Archer in 1851 and became the primary photographic medium until the late 1870s and has now found a resurgence in the hands of new generations of artists.
