New England Sketchbook
Textile artist Megan Chiango of the Department of Unqualified Observation will be joining us from 1pm - 4pm! Megan will be demonstrating her method of tapestry composition and creation with reclaimed and reimagined materials. For this event, she will be sharing her insights on collage and hand stitching in a smaller scale and will focus on small, pot-holder sized floral works. Open 10am-6pm

From 3-4pm Newburyport Art is hosting a Reception & Awards Ceremony for Youth Voice in the upstairs Hartson Gallery. Youth Voice is an exhibit featuring artwork by over 60 young artists in grades 1 through 12. All are welcome to attend the reception to celebrate these young artists! Light snacks and sodas will be provided.
