Blochaus Art Gallery
Blochaus will be showcasing new editions to the “TIDAL” series as well as some new portraits, and various sizes of limited edition prints during the Artwalk.
Blue Lobster Studio and Print Gallery
Susan Jaworski Stranc, an established printmaker who specializes in relief block printmaking, has recently opened her print studio and gallery, The Blue Lobster, located on the corner of Independent and Middle Street. During the Newburyport’s Artwalk held for one day on October 4, the studio and gallery will be featuring a “pop-up” print sale displaying work by area printmakers. Purchasing original, hand-crafted prints such as woodcuts, etchings, monoprints is a great opportunity to begin an art collection with reasonably priced original works of art. No Giclee or reproductions will be offered. All work for sale has been produced by the hand of the artist. Stop in and chat with the attending printmakers about their work. All will be delighted to explain their print techniques to you.

Audrey Martino - Featured Artist will be at Chococoa Baking from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, October 4th for NBPT Artwalk discussing passion for painting and her artwork. Audrey's work is on display through October 31st.
Audrey Martino grew up in New Hampshire and has resided in North Andover MA for the past 41 years while raising children and working as a pediatric registered nurse for a Boston hospital system. From a young age, with a passion for art and creating, Audrey had the privilege of learning how to oil paint from two talented and eclectic teachers, in high school and again in her 20's.
Since recently retiring, Audrey can devote more time to artistic expression and enjoys attending studio classes at the Artist's Playground under the direction of Pat Lutz, owner and artist. When not painting, does stained glass pieces of jewelry and art.

Newburyport Art
We will be open from 10:00am-5:00pm. We have a paid class that will be going on upstairs called Cornell Box with Belle Carver Struck. Visitors can walk around the class and take a look while class is in session.
We will also have an open to the public reception & awards presentation for our Members Fall Juried Show, juried by Babette Wheelden from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Babette will be handing out awards around 5:00pm. Light refreshments will be served. Visitors can come and enjoy some food, art and conversation with the artists!
On view in the galleries will be the Members Fall Juried Show, Fall Gift Shop, and Artist Spotlight Linda Curtain.

Threadneedle Gallery will be open 10-6pm. We have an opening from 4-6PM of our show “Indoor/Outdoor” with artists Penny Billings and Cindy Crimmin. It’s open to the public and there will be light bites and drinks.

We'll have nationally-recognized artist Hillary Scott at our shop 1:30-4:30pm during ArtWalk. She's our featured artist from Sept. 27-Nov. 2 and we're excited that she will be doing some live painting during her visit.
